Last Minute Preparation Tips for Your Holiday Travels

The time to get in the car and start rolling towards your holiday destination is here, but don’t leave without considering some of these holiday travel tips from our staff at Formula Ford Lincoln.

  • Keep a box in the trunk with some emergency supplies. Things like a gas can, duct tape, water, tools, flashlights, phone chargers, and road flares should be a few things to consider.
  • Plan your trip to go around areas where congestion occurs year after year. If the airports are usually a nightmare, go around them.
  • Get an app that will alert you as soon as an accident is reported on the road you are traveling. This will allow you to get off that highway and take alternate roads before all the other drivers even realize they are about to hit stand-still traffic.
