Formula Ford of Rutland doesn’t want to see leaseholders in Rutland, VT charged extra fees when they return their leased vehicles, so we’ve put together this handy guide to help you prepare for the end of your lease.

When you take possession of a leased vehicle, you are contractually obligated to maintain your new ride. A certain amount of wear and tear is expected, but anything that could be considered excessive needs to be repaired before you turn in your vehicle. Our service technicians are available to inspect and repair your car, SUV, or truck.

The original floor mats, wheels, owner’s manual, and key fobs all need to be returned when you turn in your car. We also advise leaseholders to double-check their glove compartments, trunks, and consoles for personal items they may have left behind. Finally, you’ll need to return your vehicle to the same dealership that you signed the lease agreement with.
